Computer Technology Competencies (CTC)

Computer Technology Competency tutorials cover the new entrance expectations for computer skills you will use in many classes at UConn. These tutorials are for all new undergraduate students, including transfer students. As indicated by the General Education guidelines, please cover these eight computer technology tutorials and complete the Overall Assessment before you begin your first class at UConn.

To access the CTC Tutorials log into HuskyCT . Under Course List, select General Education - Computer Technology Competencies. Review those tutorials on which you need to build your skills. Take the Overall Assessment prior to the first day of classes at UConn .

An online tutorial is available to assist you with accessing the Computer Technology Competencies. For more information, contact the Learning Resource Center at: (860) 486-1187. The Learning Resource Center provides technology assistance via telephone and on-line help to students in Storrs and the regional campuses.
