Go.UConn.edu

Go.UConn.edu offers users the ability to create a personalized page that provides centralized access to select University accounts and resources. Students, faculty, and staff at the University of Connecticut can choose and organize content such as:

  • University events calendar
  • Headlines from top news sources
  • Weather forecasts
  • Schedules for buses, TV, and movies
  • To Do list

Log into Go.UConn.edu

  1. Visit go.uconn.edu.
  2. Click Login in the upper-left corner of the page.
  3. Enter your UConn NetID and password.
  4. Click Login.

Set your theme (background)

You must be logged into the Go.UConn.edu page to set your theme. Once logged in:

  1. Click “Customize” in the upper-left corner of the page.
  2. Click the “Change Theme” tab and browse the available themes.
  3. Select a theme by clicking on its name. A confirmation window will appear.
  4. Click “OK”.
  5. To exit the customization window, click “Close” in the window’s upper, right corner.

Customize your content

  1. Click “Customize” in the upper-left corner of the page. Check to make sure that you are on the “Add Content” tab. All available portlets are listed in the window that appears. You can choose to add portlets to the left, center, or right column. Note that you can add multiple portlets while in the “Add Content” window. When complete, click “Close” in the upper-right corner of the window.
  2. Once a portlet appears on your go.uconn.edu page, you can Edit Settings (where applicable) by clicking on the gear icon gear.
  3. To move a portlet on your go.uconn.edu page, just click on the square target icon target on the portlet’s left side and drag it to your preferred location.
  4. To delete a portlet, click on the small ‘X’ in the upper-right corner of the portlet close. The page will ask you to confirm that you want to close the portlet. Click “OK”.

Always log out of Go.UConn.edu when using a public computer.
