Computer Technology Competencies (CTC)
Computer Technology Competency tutorials cover the new entrance expectations for computer skills you will use in many classes at UConn. These tutorials are for all new undergraduate students, including transfer students. As indicated by the General Education guidelines, please study the 5 competency-level tutorials for all eight areas and complete the Competency Test before you begin your first class at UConn.
To access the CTC Tutorials:
- Go to http://ctcs.uconn.edu and practice with the competency-level tutorials.
- Log into HuskyCT.
- Under Course List, select General Education - Computer Technology Competencies.
It is there that you will find the Competency Test.
You may take any of the practice quizzes as many times as you like. You may only take the Competency Test only once.
This assessment is designed to help you discover where you need to build up your skills and knowledge to succeed academically at UConn.
